Extended School Year

Extended School Year (ESY) services provide additional instructional time beyond the regular school year for students with disabilities who require it to maintain skills and prevent regression. ESY is individualized based on each student’s IEP and is not the same as summer school. Services may include academics, related services, or supports focused on a student’s specific learning needs.
